(ခ) ~ sb (to/ as sth) ခန္႔ထားသည္။ be nominated to a committee ❍ nominate a spokesperson ❍ He was nominated to speak on our behalf. ❍ The board nominated her as the new director. ၂။ ~ sth (as sth) ရက္သတ္မွတ္သည္။ 1 December has been nominated as the day of the election.
