concede /kǝn'si:d/ v ၁။ ~ sth (to sb) (ဟုတ္ေၾကာင္း၊ သင့္ေၾကာင္း) ဝန္ခံသည္။ concede a point to sb in an argument ❍ She grudgingly had to concede defeat (ie admit that she had lost). ❍ ‘OK, I might have been wrong,’ he conceded. ❍ I was forced to concede that she might be right. ❍ I concede you that point, but it doesn't disprove my argument. ၂။ ~ sth (to sb) ေပးလိုက္ရသည္။ လက္လႊတ္ ရသည္။ We must not concede any of our territory (ie allow another country to have it). ❍ England conceded a goal to their opponents in the first minute. ၃။ အေရး နိမ့္ေၾကာင္းဝန္ခံသည္။ After losing her queen she was forced to concede (the game).
