persuade /pǝ'sweÇd/ v ၁။ ~ sb (into sth/ doing sth ) ေဖ်ာင္းဖ် သည္။ အယံုသြင္းသည္။ ျဖားေယာင္းသည္။ Please try and persuade her (to come with us). ❍ She is easily persuaded. ❍ He can persuade himself into believing anything he wants to believe. ၂။ ~ sb (of sth) ( rather fml ) (esp passive) ဘဝင္က်ေစသည္။ ယံုၾကည္လက္ခံေစသည္။ I am not fully persuaded by the evidence. ❍ She finally persuaded us that she was telling the truth. ❍ He was eventually persuaded of the value of regular exercise.
