exchequer /Çks'tʃekǝ(r)/ n [sing] (က) the Exchequer (ယခင္ ၿဗိတိန္) ဘ႑ာေရးဌာန။ The Chancellor of the Exchequer is the minister in charge of finance in Britain. Compare TREASURY ၁ (ခ) တိုင္းျပည့္ဘ႑ာ။ This resulted in a considerable loss to the exchequer.
