၁။ (က) (အခမ်းအနား) တက်ရောက်သည်။ I was unable to attend his funeral. ❍ They had a quiet wedding—only a few friends attended (it). ❍ The meeting was well attended (ie many people were there). (ခ) မှန်မှန်တက်သည်။ attend school/ church.
၂။ ~ to sb/ sth (က) အာရုံစိုက်၍ လုပ်ဆောင်သည်။ I have some urgent business to attend to. (ခ) ဂရုတစိုက်ကူညီသည်။ A nurse attends to his needs constantly. ❍ Are you being attended to, sir (eg said by an assistant to a customer in a shop)?
