(ဂ) ညှပ်သည်။ ညပ်သွားသည်။ The door pinched my finger as it shut.
၂။ (ဖိနပ်ပေါက်၍) နာသည်။ These new shoes pinch (me).
၃။ ~ sth (from sb/sth) (Brit infml ) လစ်သည်။ အလစ်သုတ်သည်။ ခိုးသည်။ He's been pinching money from the cashbox. ❍ Who's pinched my dictionary?
