၁။ (က) ~ sb/ sth (with sth) (တစ်စုံတစ်ရာဖြင့်) ထိုးသည်။ poke the fire (with a poker) (ie to make it burn more strongly) ❍ poke sb in the ribs (ie push them with one's finger, etc in a friendly way). (ခ) ~ sth in sth ထိုး ဖောက်သည်။ ဖောက်သည်။ Poke two holes in the sack so you can see through it. (ဂ) ~ at sth တို့ကနန်းဆိတ်ကနန်း လုပ်သည်။ She poked at her lunch unenthusiastically.
