(က) ~ sb (for sth/ doing sth) (by/ with sth) အပြစ်ပေးသည်။ ပြစ်ဒဏ်ခတ်သည်။ ပြစ်ဒဏ် ကျခံစေသည်။ Those responsible for this crime will be severely punished. ❍ How should society punish a man for the murder of his wife/ for murdering his wife? ❍ She was punished with ten years in prison. ❍ They used to punish the children by sending them to bed early.
